Alpine Privacy Days got the experts, the location and the atmosphere!

This was one of the enthusiastic feedback we received after the previous Alpine Privacy Days when some of Europe's leading experts gathered in the Swiss Alps to discuss, exchange experiences, and find solutions to some of the challenges facing privacy in Europe.

Alpine Privacy Days is a privacy seminar jointly organized by the Norwegian law firm Bull and Swiss firm MLL Legal.

"Last year's seminar was a great success, and we have already noticed the interest in this year's event. We are eagerly looking forward to bringing people together again," says Lukas Bühlmann, partner at MLL Legal, and one of the initiators of the Alpine Privacy Days.

Prominent speakers

Last year, the data transfer agreement between the EU and the USA (DPF) was on the agenda. Alica Vekeman, who was involved in negotiating the agreement on behalf of the EU Commission, was one of the speakers.

We also gained insights from privacy expert Chris Docksey from the European Court of Human Rights, Leonardo Cerverea-Navas, director of the European Data Protection Board, and Emerald De Leeuw-Goggin, privacy officer at Logitech, to name a few.

"We are now working to put together an even more interesting program for this year's gathering, if possible. Artificial intelligence is, of course, a highly relevant topic. But there is a lot of interesting development happening in the field of privacy and bordering areas right now," Lukas explains.

In-depth discussions in a relaxed atmosphere

One of the goals of the conference is to facilitate knowledge sharing in a relaxed atmosphere between participants and speakers. To maintain the format, there are only a limited number of seats available at Alpine Privacy Days. So, it may be a good idea to secure your spot now.
