André specializes in advisory and dispute resolution in the field of economic family law and inheritance law, his areas of specialty for 15 years. He comes to Bull from Advokatfirmaet Hjort and has hands-on experience from the courts, both as a researcher for the Supreme Court and as a deputy judge. He has also worked for Advokatfirmaet Høie.

Within inheritance and probate law, André has special competence within financial settlements following separation and divorce, such as division of community property, separate property issues, unequal division of the marital estate, and settlements between cohabitants. He also advises on facilitation and implementation in succession cases and international probate settlements. Through regular handling of litigation assignments as a lawyer and several years of working for the courts, André has acquired in-depth expertise in dispute resolution and litigation.

André has experience with advisory and dispute resolution related to complex family, inheritance, and probate issues and will be a key resource for achieving our goal of being Norway's best lawyers within inheritance and probate law," says Anne-Sofie Rolfsjord, partner and head of the Private law group. He is also intended to be a mentor for our younger resources within this field.

The team has experienced significant assignment growth in recent years, and several of these involve intersecting legal rules. A good example is succession cases. In connection with assignments within family and inheritance law, André also works with contractual issues, real estate law, and administrative law. We see that many clients who come to us are looking for this type of interdisciplinary expertise," continues Anne-Sofie.

At Bull, I become part of one of Norway's leading teams within my specialty. I am very much looking forward to helping this team continue to develop and grow," says André.

Bull's Private law department consists of 12 lawyers with expertise in family law, inheritance, probate, and wealth planning – several of whom are also experienced within company, real estate, tax, or intellectual property law. The group also cooperates closely with specialists from Bull's other departments, especially within tax, corporate, and real estate.
