Good news from The Legal 500 for 2024

Seven practice areas ranked

The international ranking agency The Legal 500 has published its evaluations of the Norwegian legal market in 2024. Seven of Bull’s practice areas are ranked, and they all maintain their good rankings in this year’s edition. The following practice areas are ranked:

• Commercial, corporate and M&A
• Construction
• Employment
• Insurance
• Intellectual property
• Tax
• TMT (Technology, Media and Telecom)

In addition, Bull is listed among "Firms to watch" in Restructuring, insolvency and bankruptcy for the first time.

- Having achieved rankings with Chambers and Partners over the past two years, we are now also on The Legal 500’s radar. We are pleased and view it as a confirmation of the team’s strength in the market. We are handling an increasing number of restructuring projects, important litigation assignments and sizable bankruptcy estates. It is appropriate that we are gaining international recognition as well, says Kristoffer Aasebø, head of the Restructuring, insolvency and bankruptcy team.

New record listing of recommended lawyers

The good news also apply to Bull's lawyers individually. The Legal 500 operates mainly with recommendations, and an impressive 28 of Bull's lawyers are on the list. This is a new high for the number of recommended Bull lawyers. It is particularly gratifying that Senior Attorney Cathrine Grundtvig and Senior Associate Andreas Dysthe are being noticed in this way, and that newly recruited partners Harald Strømstad and Kjersti Borgen are achieving recommendations.
