Astri Ellegård-Jacobsen primarily works on cases and disputes related to real estate and property law. Since 2007, she has gained extensive experience in this field, assisting both private and public clients.
Her expertise includes, among other things, registration of property rights, encumbrances, easements/rights, forced sales and dissolution of co-ownerships, land consolidation cases, transfer and settlement of real estate and real estate companies, legality of measures in coastal zones, concession/duty of residence, agricultural properties, expropriation, neighbor law, subdivision of land, and lease agreements. Additionally, she has extensive experience in housing law, including matters related to condominium associations and tenancy agreements.
Astri is authorized and registered with the right to conduct real estate brokerage in the Financial Supervisory Authority's concession register. In real estate transactions, she plays a key role, especially in the final stages/implementation, where tasks such as settlements, coordination with financing banks, and handling registrations and encumbrances are central. Her work in structuring settlement cases, including implementing systems for electronic registration, has contributed to more efficient assistance for clients. As a compliance officer for a real estate brokerage firm, she also provides support in adhering to laws, regulations, and professional standards, as well as advising on regulatory issues and concession applications.
In construction law, she has assisted both developers and contractors through all phases of projects, including disputes before the courts. As a corporate lawyer/contract manager, she was responsible for monitoring the change order regime in large construction projects.
She also has experience in the judiciary, including serving as a deputy judge in one of the country's busiest courts. Through her work as a lawyer, she has been involved in mediation and dispute resolution, including cases before the land consolidation court.
Through various roles in law firms, real estate brokerage companies, and as a board member in a bank, Astri has gained extensive experience in compliance and regulatory matters, particularly within AML (anti-money laundering).
Astri is one of the driving forces behind Bull's network for real estate professionals – a forum for industry-relevant topics and collaboration among professionals in the real estate sector.
