Cathrine Kongsfjell Næss is an attorney and is affiliated with the practice groups for tax and corporate. She assists Norwegian and international clients with advice on tax, corporate law, and transactions.
She has extensive experience with international tax law, including the application of tax treaties, tax returns, tax-related emigration, and exit tax. Cathrine provides companies and employees with comprehensive advice related to international employment matters, including policy development, regulatory issues, and administrative obligations.
In her master’s thesis, she wrote about liability for managing directors under Section 17-1, first paragraph, of the Norwegian Companies Act. The thesis addresses the managing director’s duty to notify in cases of financial difficulties in ongoing contractual relationships.
