Sustainability and social responsibility
We will lead by example.
Several of our attorneys have or have held positions in the The Norwegian Bar Association, in law committees or in the disciplinary committee. Such engagements preserve our focus on due process rights, quality in legislation, and a high moral standard in the industry to attract and keep young lawyers' interest through networking and developing a professional competence. We also engage in women’s schemes, together with having one of the industry’s largest proportion of female attorneys in the partnership.
We care about the world around us.
We support Amnesty International and have supported them for many years. This has created many results we are very proud of. Through substantial contributions, we have been involved in female empowerment and justice, both in Norway and internationally, introduced a human rights law for the businesses in Norway (The Transparency Act), improved the LGBTQ+ community’s rights, and investigated human rights violations in the war in Ukraine.
We have a low carbon footprint.
We recycle and limit our travel activities and consumption of paper. Last fall, we moved into new offices where reuse of furniture and inventory was a crucial part of the moving project. Entra ASA, who owns our new office space, has a great focus on sustainability in their daily operation of the building. It is classified as a BREEAM-NOR Excellent and an energy class A building. The new office is located in the city centre of Oslo and makes it easy to travel to the office with public transport, by cycling or walking. Our IT supplier, Intility AS, is Eco Lighthouse certified, and we CO2 compensate for all our new computers and recycle outdated IT equipment.
We help our clients with sustainability.
Bull will contribute to developing an environment that makes legal and strategic implications more visible of the demands on sustainability and circular economy. We are specialized in environmental rights and sustainability topics.
