Each year, Norwegian law firms are rated by international and national companies and media outlets. These are based on nominations, interviews and conversations with clients and law firms – both in Norway and abroad.

Chambers Europe 2024 

Chambers Europe 2024 ranks Bull and its lawyers as a leading law firm within Data Protection, Technology, Media, entertainment & culture, Intellectual property & marketing law (also ranked in Chambers Global) , Investigation & Compliance, Restructuring, insolvency & bankruptcy, and Private Wealth Law (in the High Net Worth guide).

The Legal 500 2024

The Legal 500 2024 has ranked Bull and Bull's lawyers as leading within the following areas of expertise: Insurance, Intellectual property & marketing law, Technology, Media, entertainment & culture, Company law & transactions, Employment laws and pensions, Construction and Taxes & duties.

For the first time, our restructuring and insolvency team was noted as "up and coming".


Universum Student Survey gave Bull the Climber prize in 2021 as one of the firms developing most from 2020 to 2021.

Universum Professionals Survey: Bull climbed from 43rd place in 2020 to 38th place in 2021. Bull is also among the top ten best law firms in Norway.

Finansavisen's Peer Review 2023

Bull climbed many notched on the list of law firms gathering the most points i hte survy, i.e., to number 14 out of 50 overall. In total, Bull and Bull's lawyers were ranked in the top ten in the country within Privacy, Tax Law, Investigation & Compliance, Media, Sport & Culture (Bull was no. 2), Insurance Law and Retail Trade.

The Norwegian Bar Association's Talent Award

Bull's partner Anne-Sofie Rolfsjord won the Norwegian Bar Association's Talent Award 2022.
