1242 Apps AS (Shortcut AS’ parent) has acquired 65 percent of Greener Pastures A/S in Denmark

The following is cited from Finansavisen’s article on 26 October:

– With this transaction, Shortcut steps up to become the Nordic region’s largest pure app development company. If the future holds what we believe it does, the company’s turnover from app development will be more than NOK 150 million next year, says Henrik Lie-Nielsen, Shortcut board member.

Bull & Co has been part of Shortcut’s journey for several years, and we are happy to contribute during this latest acquisition. Greener Pastrures has customers such as Coop, Berlingske, Danmarks Radio, and Almindelig Brand. Vipps, DNB, Posten, Ruter, and Rema 1000 are already among Shortcut Norway’s customers. With this acquisition, the Shortcut Group consists of 140 employees, with offices in Oslo, Copenhagen, Bergen, and Bucharest.

In connection with the acquisition, the group will also be reorganised. The Norway business will take place in Shortcut AS, which will be 100 percent owned by holding company 1242 Apps.

The team has consisted of Bjarte Bogstad (project responsible partner), Finn Olav Elde (client responsible partner), and Elisabeth Hoffmann.
