Main work areas

Intellectual property law with a particular emphasis on copyright, specialising in the areas of film, television, museums, theatres, adventure centres, music, computer games and media. Also works within general labour law and has extensive experience within employment contracts in the film, television and entertainment industry, and company law and general contract law. Advises on framework conditions, legislation, regulations, collective and framework agreements, etc. within the media sector.


Most recently, the ranking agency The Legal 500 recommended Tom within Intellectual property in its 2019 and 2020 editions and states this that he once again “is highly regarded for his knowledge of copyright law in the film, television, museum, theatre, music and publishing sectors.” He is also recommended in the TMT category and called “the go-to name in the market for media companies.”
