Main work areas

Kristoffer Aasebø’s principal areas of practice are within real estate law, restructurings, bankruptcies, transactions, contract law, planning and building law and administrative law. He has played a central role in a number of transactions involving large properties and property companies. He advises property companies and other businesses on questions of rent, planning and building law and other issues relating to the management/operation/maintenance of real property. He also advises companies, company directors and Norwegian and foreign creditors on issues of insolvency and directors’ liability. Kristoffer Aasebø is a permanent member of the panel of bankruptcy administrators at Oslo County Court. He specialises in the restructuring of property companies and other companies encountering financial difficulties. He is regularly invited to lecture on bankruptcy and property law. He has published a number of articles examining issues in the interface between administrative law and contract law. He served as a deputy judge at Ytre Follo District Court in Drøbak.
