Bull & Co is one of Norway’s leading law firms for film producers and distributors. We are involved in most of the big film productions in Norway, often right from the initial planning of the film up until its release.
We have extensive experience with standard contracts in the sector, with transnational collaboration, subsidy schemes in Norway, the protection and management of rights to a film, licence agreements, licensing, distribution agreements and so on.
Heading our team’s work in the film industry is our associate Tom G. Eilertsen, former director of The Norwegian Film and Television Producers Guild, and chairman of several film festivals in Norway, in addition to several film producers and other contributors to the film industry. Eilertsen is also president of The International Film Producer Alliance AGICOA, and represents AGICOA in Norway.
Our lawyers teach upcoming operators in the film industry at, among others, The Norwegian School of Business (BI), the Norwegian Film School/Lillehammer College, Vestfold College in Volda, Tromsø University, the Norwegian Institute for Stage and Studio, and the Film and TV Academy in Oslo, etc.
