Competition law

Competition law deals with the statutes pertaining to a trader’s anti-competitive practices.  The sector is subject to strict regulation, supervision and monitoring by the law, and to regulations on the national level and the EU and EEA levels.

The lawyers at our firm who have core knowledge of competition law assist among other things with:

  • Assessments of whether anyone is affected by the ban on anti-competitive agreements (cartels, cf. The Competition Act § 10, EEA-agreement article 53 and TFEU article 101)
  • Establishing the implications of the ban on unmitigated abuse of a dominant position (cf. Competition Law § 11, EEA-agreement article 54 og TFEU article 102),
  • Structural monitoring/monitoring of mergers

We also assist with questions relating to competition law in the drawing up and auditing of agreements, and also offer both continuous advice and assistance with dispute resolution.
